The hammer is internal. It is SAO. I might have balked a little bit if it was DA. The mag follower has ears like some .22's do so you can hold the follower down and just drop the cartridges in.

That's really cool. I wonder if I can use those in mine? Going to have to do some research.

Well. so far today I hand loaded and belted up 30,000 rounds,  *l_ and that was all before noon.  L@J For the rest of the day, I'll do something else.  (*3

What did you do, go out and buy a Dillon?

No, just using a Rock Chucker.

You loaded 30,000 rounds on a Rock Chucker, all before noon?!?! You are Superman!!

No, they're not the same. The EZ 9 isn't really a Shield. They just use the name because it's well known. Or at least that's my opinion.

Today for real, I hooked up my new LDG IT-100 external turner to my ICOM IC 7300 transceiver.  (*3  Now I can broadcast with my new radio that I've had for close to two years.  :) I have two more radios I need to get external turners for, my Yaesu  FTDX 1200 and my Kenwood TS 2000.  )l_

I didn't even realize it was a hammer gun Hawg. I did see the grip safety and lack of hinged trigger. Is it DA only? Or can you manually cock the hammer?

I'm glad the mags are easier to load. That is a royal pain with mine. The first one or two rounds are no big deal. But with each successive round, it gets proportionately harder to put a round in. By the 7th round, it takes a herculean effort to put it in the mag.
I have 2-3 different loading devices fo load my mags. Maglula is great, especially for those 380 and 9mms.

I'll look into one of those. These mags are thumb busters!

Today we are celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. I can't believe how quickly and smoothly the time has passed. For excitement we may just go out and mow the 3 acres of lawn!
