Mind if I set a spell ?

Just rode in from California, I like to call were I hale from as "South California".
There is some that say SoCal, thems  city folks, I ain't......I just ahappen to live here.
Got into Black Powder shootin a few  ago. Before that began to reload those new type cartridges made out
a metal. I have a couple of Colt revolvers and several 1858 Remingtons and still reload, but with paper and even jest packin the Holy Black down the cylinders.
I see a few familiar dirty faces lookin out from under yar Stetsons , from over at the RR brand ( Remington Ranch )
Brungya some coffee and bacon and I think a bottle or two of apple jack. Want some ? L@.

Took ya long enuff...we ben waitin' on that there apple jack seems like a month or better...
Coffee's hot and we a got the makin's to spice up the apple jack OR  the coffee. Lay yer hardware out so's we kin play with it and join the bunch.

I'm a slow lerner did not know bout this place till now. &m(
I'll get some pitchers fer ya, soon as figure where the crank
is on the pitcher box and hold still fer powder to flash.

Hi Hewy, welcome to the group. One thing going for this group is that there are no Colt haters or voluminous BS here. You can even talk about a non Colt without having anyone jump down your throat. Good to have you here.

Glad ta see ya here, too. Just been here a little while myself. I've known about this place for quite awhile (from doin' searches), but figured I'd wait to join 'til I got another Colt. BTW, you guys are makin' me thirsty.  :)

Have two Colts, an 1851 Navy .36 Navy Arms made in 1978 fixing up to shoot.
The other is my first BP revolver a Pietta 1851 brasser in .44, that is on it's way
as a gift to my grandson in Ohio.
Well dang that means I need to search for more. (*3
