No abrasives and it works nicely.  If you use the revolver, it will need to be reapplied.  Or just use the revolver enough so the tarnish does not build up.

I use the standard (blue) Flitz metal polish. I have used it on the silver electroplating on others' firearms on occasion with no noticeable bad attributes, but since I don't own any firearms with silver plating I can't give you the lowdown on long-term usage.
If the blue Filtz is the one with the warning, then I guess I would go by their recommendations. Better safe than sorry.
