Mazo, these are all Remmies I do or did own. I've sold off two of the three brassers and sold the Navy to my son. The rest I still own. :)

Sccoby, as far as I know the Lyman is unfired.
My buddy scored it off Gunbroker as 'possibly unfired' and sold it to me a few months later. He never shot it. Neither have I.
It's been turned plenty though. Ring-Around-The-Collar for sure.
I'll be shooting it next season so it's a moot point anyway..... *Z$

  I'll be the bad guy, isn't this supposed to be a "Colt" forum?  Those are nice Remingtons.  I own one too.

Hi Captain, looks like one of your 1858s has a bolt ring mark. Did you do that?  :o  :o

Also, the stainless steel cylinder seems to be dragging on the bolt and trigger spring screw.   :'( :'( Shorten that screw with a file.

Both those drag marks are 'pre-fixed' marks. Fixed the problem, but not the road rash. It's all good..

So Cabela's has a great Christmas sale going on, I bought a Pietta 5.5 inch barrel one and it came with a free starter kit $176.92 out the door.

Came back a day early so swung out to UPS and picked my new Pietta 1858 5.5 inch up with my free starter kit!!  )l_
