What's your handle?
« on: March 12, 2016, 11:11:10 AM »
Not your screen name; we know that!
No, what's your Christian name (to quote Bear Claw Chris Lapp, in "Jeremiah Johnson")
And, how did you come about with your screen name?
Note: if you don't feel like posting your surname, that's Okey Dokey with me. Some people prefer privacy and I respect that.

Mine is pretty easy.....first name Kirk (duh!) and any kid who grew up in the Sixties can figure out how I got the "Captain Kirk" tag hung on me....Star Trek! Even though I really never watched it much or cared to, everyone else did, apparently!

Name is LaVelle. I took up Hawg because when I joined SASS I needed a one of alias. I used to ride Harley's so the Hawg part was easy. Then I remembered an old Ken Curtis album I have where he(Festus) talked about his grampa Hawg Haggen so that's what I took for a SASS alias. After I quit SASS I dropped the Haggen.

My name is Mike but have used Bishop Creek as an alias taken from the original 1860s name of my hometown when I joined SASS years ago. I am a radio personality and use another name on the air.

My biggest concern is that when I pass away, my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

Louis is the name. Ringo is the hero's name in the first western movie I ever saw, back in the early 1960s. The original title was "il ritorno di Ringo", known as "blood at sundown" or "the return of Ringo" in the U.S.A.

Emery here, named after my maternal grandfather. Several years ago, I was considering joining SASS or CAS because some friends belonged. Never followed through on the joining part, but I did come up with my alias "Mazo kid" after the name of the small town where our post office is....Mazomanie. That name, or a variation has been used on most forums, auction sites, etc. for many years now.
