Wholly Flint sparks!  He certainly fuggered that away.  Shortfired (unintentionaly discharged) that heavy flint lock just before he was to take his coin tossed won first shot in a duel,-

I have this series called,- Young Riders.  Lots of good BP action.  'Teaspoon' carries a Walker.  E v e r y w h e r e !

There one episode where someone presents two of the riders with Nickel/silver?  plated 51s with ivory stocks and engraved.  They   r e a l l y   look good!  Another episode, one of the charachters gets presented with a very lustrously blued, ivory/pearl? stocked 61 Navy.

Some of the guns are really nice and I wonder what they are?,- Authentic Colts, replicas, custom mde or whatever.

Krylandalian, I think I found someting that is right up your alley. Movie is called The Oregon Trail, featuring Arvo Ojala, Hollywood fast draw stuntman, loading, shooting and spinning!! a Colt Walker, explaining as he goes along. Looks to be old repros as the film is from 1959.

I watched the scene closely again, from what I can see the revolver is swapped between loading and shooting scenes for a Remington New Model Army.

Of course the loading sequence leaves something to be desired as the revolver is taken apart for loading, and doesn't apply the percussion caps.

At 50:10 the loading sequence:

Later there's a final battle where the Walkers are used against Indians in a large fight. If you watch closely there are also a lot of Remington New Model Army's used. Fight is at around 1:12:00.

Not the greatest movie but fun to watch.

Hey!  I watched those scenes.  Wow!  That s  rare to get to see such a detailed scene showing the intricasies of the gun etc.  Yeah, the charging the chambers the way he did was funny.  That sucker sure could certainly draw and fire that thing! The twirling was impressive too.

Thank you for that.

Yes. Captain.  Remember how long it took before I saavy d  up to it?  A year?  Got it though.
