Those are both brass. You have to go to see seller's other items.

OOps, sorry Cap'n.  I copied but forgot to paste.  http://www.gunbroker.com/item/600285798

I don't see a cut watertable on either frame, and the bottom frame has case colors. How does one do that on a brasser?

Jim

It is not a large cut in the water tables; but there is one if you look at photo 11.  I'd say the colors are a reflection of the person taking the pictures - look closely at the first photo & you can see the guy holding the camera.  In photo 9 you get a good look at the reflection of the oak table top the frames are sitting on

On second thought I might just sell mine. The only other .44 I own is a Remington.
I am more inclined to keep to more original copied Navy 1851s, I do like .36 caliber.
The brasser I have is an excellent shooter with light loads , about 20 grains.

The reason to sell would be break some $ loose toward my desire for an 1860 Navy.
Would $100 be a fair price ?
Any thoughts gents ?

Hewy

I am assuming that the 1860 Navy is a typo. Possibly an 1861 Navy?

Nice pistols, but I am willingly stuck with the 1851 Navy design.

You go, sir!

Hewy, if you get an 1861 that you want, please post pics. Most of us drool at those pics only because most of us don't have one.

Good luck in your endeavors, sir.
