LOL ... hey Cap ... they are the rim of every 38 special and 357 mag case. I described above how I collect and make em work.

Yep those cartridge rims make a great button shim. I have four arbors fixed thusly and chuckle every time I clean and see that 38 special stamped on my shim. Next one I do will look like the case has a new primer in the primer hole. Should freak whoever takes it apart after the revolver is pryed outta my dead fist. Or outta my collection after my passin.
