greetings
« on: September 29, 2021, 08:36:01 PM »
Kevin, Twin Falls.
Came here from a "top strap revolver" forum that seems to have expired  )H^

Got sent here, and was told it would be a good fit.
Guess I'll have to add an "open-top" to my arsenal so I'm "in the club" lol.
Greetings all.

Trucker. (Kenworth, Reefer, OTR)
Photographer. (Canon)
Married. (this week)
Father of 4. (I think, I'm old, easy to lose count)
Black Powder Officianado.
OffRoad Enthusiast (Jeep, but I respect all... yep. even the ones that came from the land that attacked us 70 years ago.... (@+)

That's a decent jumping-off point.
Oh pair of '58's and a .50 Lyman Trade Rifle.

Welcome. Yeah the other forum is our sister forum. We have had some major difficulties but this one is here to stay and the other one may be revived at a later date.

Hi Clydesdale,
know you from the Remi forum. Good to see you here. No problem for us Remi-fans to be (somewhat) tolerated here by the Colt-lovers.

Hello again Clyde,   glad you got logged in.    I'll bet at least half of us started out on the 1858 forum before becoming members here.

'Morning, Clyde! Welcome to Colt Country! As for the "top strap forum", anything they could do, we can do better! ::)
Seriously, you are most welcome here! Don't be afraid to share, if owning Remmies was a hanging crime, I'd look like a giraffe.

Welcome aboard Kevin! We talk about ALL black powder guns here.

Glad you made the migration from the nearly defunct Remmie board.

I believe it's 5 posts and that stuff will go away. If not, clear your cache and restart your machine. That should make it go away.

I hate that thing.
