We left home Saturday morning, headed south & west to ride through Rocky National Park, got there Monday at 2:00 pm, only to find out that one needs a reservation to enter. Of course if we waited till 3:00 we could go through, so we sat on the side of the road till 3:00. Spent Monday night in Fraser, CO, when we left Tuesday morning it was 42 degrees. Spent Tuesday night at Scottsbluff, NE, it was oner 100 when we got there. Tried to leave a little early this morning, but it's again over 100 degrees and tough riding (especially for an old fart like myself). Decided to cut the ride one day short, instead of going to Waterloo, IA to visit the John Deere museum we're going to b-line it back home to Minnesota. We're missing the humidity, NOT.
