Any man who works daily, keeps a roof over his family and puts bread on the table and manages to maintain a group of successful fora is no 'loser' in my book.

Agreed.

When one just happens to  live in the most demanding and complex society in the history of the world keeping things together and running reasonably well is no small achevment.

Hi Sam, have you considered looking for a job where there is a high noise level? Being deaf may have value where there are operations where the noise level is high. Have you ever operated a jack hammer?

Maybe contact an employment service?

Good luck looking for a high paying interesting job.

Regards,
Richard

I have worked as a machinist and tool & die maker for the last 47 years. I was thinking about retiring in 2019 but since I'm fortunate enough to have good health and a gravy job, I might stretch it a few more years.
