This is the Paterson I picked up this past summer. I just re-read my old post about a Paterson no longer being on my list. This is the one. I also noted I mentioned in that post about "Colt Fever". I suffered from an attack of that this last week. The doctor prescribed to "take two". So I did, and took the two Pocket Colts that Kevin posted photos of. I think I was suffering from a relapse. The treatment wasn't too bad (;s  I think I am feeling better now. 8)

I have read that the replica Paterson is finicky and difficult to load, but I sure would like to have one like yours with the loading lever and cap cut out in the recoil shield. Uberti's version right?

Yes, that is the Uberti version. I am very pleased with the fit and finish on the revolver. I do intend to shoot it. I just have to make time to do that. 8)

It sure doesn't look like there is any room to put a ball between the cylinder and the barrel lug?

The price was marked down for the missing trigger. Actually, it has a "stealth" trigger. L@. It really is difficult to spin too... :-* 8)
