Well fellas, we made it! Hewy invited me to shoot at his gun club, and we were able to make it happen this morning. We had a great time! It was great to finally meet Chris face to face too. We talk frequently via text, phone and FaceTime, but this was our first meeting.
Chris' gun club is very nice! This is only a small portion of it.
And here's a small sample of the hardware we brought to burn powder in. We both had several new pistols to try out. So we got them all dirty today.

And here's a little surprise just for my good friend Sourdough. I actually loaded and fired the G&U Navy I recently got from forum member Alaskaguy. I'm sorry Jim, I know you didn't want me to shoot it, but I could not resist it! And by the way, it's a REALLY good shooter!
Aside from all the pistols we shot, we also got to shoot my 66 Winchester. It hadn't been fired since my infamous OOBD. If you remember, I had to repair the extractor after that episode. I was a tad apprehensive about it, but all went well. We shot my BP handholds in it, and it functioned flawlessly. It hit what it was aimed at too.
Couldn't have ordered a nicer day. It was beautiful weather out this morning. Maybe about 72*
I'd like to thank Chris again for inviting me, I had a fantastic time! Sorry we had to cut it short, due to having to pick up my son. I look forward to our next outing!
