Club Butt musket

I never shot this much so decided to sell it as a friend wanted it. It is a Leonard Day flintlock musket.

I was going to ask what a "Butt Musket" was, and why there was a club for them. Then I looked at the post and saw the pictures of a musket with a club butt.  (7+"

Not anymore Toot. Unfortunately Mazo passed on year before last. He is dearly missed around here.

And now it looks like his Flickr account has finally expired too, taking all of his wonderful photos with it. This makes me very sad.
