If you had one....you must have great willpower. My first long gun was a percussion rifle I built from scratch. I was a greenhorn, and kinda afraid of a flinter. Not because they are dangerous, but everyone was telling me how hard they were to get shooting right. That was then..... L@J

Don't get me wrong I would like to have another one but I was 13 then. I paid 100 bucks for a Kentucky Long Rifle and it was the biggest POS I ever saw. I'm sure that was from me not knowing what I was doing but it turned me off of flinters for many, many years. I traded it off for a 63 2DHT Galaxy 500.

Yeah but when I got my license at 15 I also got the 67 Mustang my sis bought brand new so I was choppin tall cotton.
