Trick or Treat!
« on: October 08, 2021, 04:58:56 PM »
The brown box was sitting on the front porch when I arrived home this afternoon, and it was full of Halloween treats (well, sorta...the wife wasn't particularly excited about it). Ordered from TOW two days ago and delivered today, by George!

Top left; TOW powder horn. Top right, BP bore cleaner (which I didn't need but came with the package deal

Middle row L-R; breech plug scraper, .54 cal cleaning patches, patch worm, bronze bore brush

Bottom row, L-R; .54 cal ball puller, .54 cal patch jag, .54 cal bore mop.

All came as a TOW .54 cal cleaning kit with the exception of the powder horn and patch worm, which I ordered extra. All are must-have's for shooting my .54 cal Great Plains Rifle which I have yet to do. No excuses now!!!

Not sure. Really doesn't matter as I don't intend to store powder in it after each shooting session...back into the can it goes.

I guess that will work. (7+" One of my horns has powder in it that's been there for years.

Looks like a nice complete kit. I need to get one of those myself.

Hey Captain,

I recognized the Bore Solvent from a purchase I made some 35 years ago.
I used to drive to the Big City and look around their store,
I don't even know if they still have a store or just do the catalog sales.
No complaints about them from me, I think I purchased two long guns from them.
