I own TWO of them..... The SS '44 and a blued .36.  I also own two Ruger Old Armies - for investment purposes only though.

Dittos on the photo skills Scooby.

I just noticed the wood to metal profile is identical to the 1858 Remington. Are the actual grips interchangeable?

There is just enough difference , (that is on my two examples ) to say no not interchangeable,

but that is not fair as the S&B is a Pietta  and the Remy is a Uberti Forge Frame Conversion circa  both date coded 2008.

Edit, in a further investigation, I went to VTI's parts page where they list two different part number's and price points for the
Pietta Remy VS Pietta R&B grip panels.
Not perhaps scientific, like actually trying ... but if some one has a spare set of Pietta Remy 58 / NMA 63 grips panels to send, I'll be glad to see how close.

First time stumbling on this thread. Doesn't Fingers have the best collection of cap and ball revolvers in the World?
My biggest concern is that when I pass away, my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

I do believe, and Fingers can correct or verify, that Dr Davis has about the largest collection of replica C&B revolves extant.

I would tend to agree with that. His collection is massive as is the amount of knowledge he carries around in his head!
