Yeah, I agree Woodsrunner. I can't quite make out what is on one side of the grip though? Can you? it had bas relief or raised or whatever you call it.  What say ye Shootemup? We like your 51! Tell us more when you have a minute.  :-* (7&

89 ASM the raised portion on the grip is an American eagle with shield. the grips don't fit the frame very well maybe they are aftermarket.  I do not think it has ever been shot. Good thing is it looks like my Pietta conversion cylinder fits in it. Everything may have to go to Goons for fitting and his magic though.

Shootemup, Thanks for clarifying the grip question. Sounds like you have a good play.  :-*  Will this be a shooter?  )l_

Nice piece, congrats.  Just in time for Christmas.

Twenty Questions:  Who's the maker?  Date code?  Steel frame, yes?

Is the loading lever/plunger screw reversed?

Good score.

The frame looks like bronze to me. On the original square backs the lever screw was reversed. It sure is pretty. The grips are aftermarket. it doesn't look like whoever installed them tried to fit them to the frame. Aftermarket grips are always a little oversize.

Maker is Armi San Marco
Date code is AU 1989
It is a steel frame just hard to see in my picture
The frame, barrel and hammer were all left in the white
