Finally able to post pipes. Maybe someone can let me know something about the type some of them are. Mick. Notice the meerschaum in the little case. The screw in mouth piece is broken. The threads look okay on the receiving end but stripped on the mouth piece?

I recognize number 4, with the long stem (of rowan, methinks). It's German. They were sold in great numbers, as dug out of the ruins in Hamburg and such places, after WWII. Sold in flee markets in the 1950ieths

Len, thanks. So you are thinking vintage late 40's possibly? Interesting. I will look for markings on it. I didn't even consider that when taking picture.

Really cool pipes Tim. I really like the carved head Meerschaum. I gotta get me one like that someday. I've always wanted one.

I have one similar to that 3 piece job you have. My mom bought it for me in Italy when her and my step dad vacationed there. I'll dig it out and get a pic.
