Mike shoots the Paterson
« on: June 02, 2022, 06:44:46 AM »
Hi, a video of Mike shooting the Paterson revolver:

While Mike has a few problems with his Paterson, once dialed in they are very reliable to shoot. Dissassembly is easy, but putting them back together is a challenge.

Photos of my Pietta Patersons. The Pietta Patersons shoot very high so I installed dovetail sights to have the poi=poa @25yds. I now have six extra cylinders that I load with an arbor press.

Regards,
Richard

That is a beautiful revolver you got there Richard. How long have you had that one? Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Richard, I should have read your post more closely. You have 2 Paterson's? 6 additional cylinders?  They are nice. Love to own just one someday. Thank you for the link. Says that one of the books just sold in the last hour with two left. You buy that one? LOL $15.95 Free Shipping. Sounds like a very good price

Thanks for posting this Richard. The Paterson is #1 on my list of wants. I should have bought one back when they were $400. Now they're $800+ and I refuse to pay that. Maybe one will come along one day.

They won't get any cheaper, Dave.
Richard, the Paterson is one hole I will likely never fill in my collection, much to my regret. Unless somebody starts making them at a more reasonable price. You did well to grab yours when you did, plus the extra cylinders.

The Patterson is also high on my list. MY buddy has half dozen or more...... patiently waiting for the right time and I don't do patience well.
