My hobbies.
« on: November 06, 2022, 04:57:47 AM »
After retiring my hobbies are reloading, guns, and shooting. Now I paint and draw “pitchers”
Here is one that fits in here. It is a quickly done aimed at a painting on canvas later.

Small town lawman.

I was using acrylic that was on my pallet from another painting. I will use acrylic on canvas for this painting. I like the”Lawman” but he needs lots of work.
Thanks for looking.

That is a good idea. I look forward to seeing where you take this. Please post a photo of the canvas one after it's done.

Working in different fine art mediums can be a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, but inquiring minds want to know...can you make a rifle stock out of toothpicks?

Another drawing of a cattleman.   Young woman said to the cattleman,  “ that’s a nice pony you pony you have the cowboy.  He replied,  this is a horse, and I ain’t no boy !”

Ages ago nearly 50 years, my wife’s uncle lived in Abiquiu NM. He and some partners rented horses and wagons to movie studios who were filming in that area.  Back in Ballinger, tx where he was raised on a farm in the Norton community he had some horses including his favorite a big white horse named General. On the day he was loading General to move him to New Mexico I happened toe there with my bride to be. I volunteered to help load General. Not having that  much horse sence or experience loading stock on trailers.  General didn’t have much experience loading on trailers either.   Got behind him. He let me know I shouldn’t be there  with a kick. I wore a bruise for a few days. Never got behind a horse that way again.
