You bet, Doc! Neat story about that one...I had the Walker at Goon's getting the full Monty treatment when I cut the deal on the Howell cylinder from one of our members. I had the cylinder drop shipped straight there and Goon hand fitted and tuned it to the gun.

Loading stands....Len, can you show the hinge design? or is that proprietary info? I have seen a couple of other hinged stands, but the hinges were across the width of the stand. Nice work, by the way!

Is that a Browning version?
Nope, this is a jenn-you-wine Winchester, born in 1891. Ser. number 531XX. I wish I knew more about it! L@.

Aaah, that is a great idea! You made your own, no wonder I couldn't find anything close. Did you mill out the recesses with a router or milling machine? You have me thinking now, like I need another project!

Mazo, I use an old mill that I bought in the early 70ieth. Good old Swedish Arboga and a Demanders coordinate table. Served me well all those years. Cuts steel, alu, brass, plastics and wood. Gearbox on top and a 3 phase motor (back in the good old days when we did not buy Chinese shit but relied on our own ability to produce quality stuff).

Reason I made my own hinges was that the hardware store stuff are floppy and the rack will not be steady, too much play.

American Historic Foundation Military Commemoratives made around 1986 from 2nd Generation Colt C series guns. Only 100 of  each model was produced. The four commemoratives were the gold plated Army, Silver plated Navy; Gold and silver plated Mmarine Corps; and the silver and gold plated Air Force.  Each is fully engraved with national and branch images
