Yeah, I ordered the conversion cylinder shortly after I got the revolver. As I recall, it was even on sale! I got lucky on both scores.

This was a do-it-yourself kit conversion consisting (I think!) of the back plate and cylinder. I don't know if screws were included, but probably. These were advertised in American Rifleman and probably other gun magazines and were quite inexpensive as I recall. No, I didn't make this gun.

This gun is a composite of frame, action, and back strap.

What I meant to say is that the gun is built of parts; frame and action is EuroArms and the grip frame is made in Belgium. Centaur?

The revolver is just as I bought it at a gun show a few years ago. I haven't tried finding the wedge retaining screw. The grips look like they have a decent grain but have been varnished.

That turning the screw horizontal is a feature that Ruger incorporated into the Old Army to be able to withdraw the loading lever and cylinder pin.  GF

As you can see in the previous photo, it has the Kirst drop-in conversion cylinder.

I got this revolver for a most favorable price! &\? It was used, but in very nice condition. Date code BN places it as made in 2000.

That .38 S&W conversion is really cool Em! It even has the sight on the backing plate.
