Those are both beauties Capt.

I really need to see about getting all of Em's pictures back in here.

Richard, you really have some exquisite conversions there! Did you find the gun+Konverter to be cheaper than just buying a cartridge revolver in some, or most cases? That's always been my issue. The Kirst kit with ejector seems to cost nearly as much as the gun itself.

Yep, Richard is the Konversion King. His creations are always gorgeous.

I specially love that little 61 at the bottom. That is exactly what I want to do with mine and include a .357 lined barrel. I'll get on it one of these days.

Richard, were there any issues with timing after installing the Kirsts?

Hey Guys,

I thought I read here that someone wished Mazo Kid's pictures could be seen, but now I cant find it.
Anyway, I did copy a post from Mazo Kid about his Legal Defender, so here it is.

Hi Kirk, yes the Kirst  .45 Colt conversions were a PITA. Timing wasn't an issue, but the barrel to cylinder gap of the Kirst was a problem setting up. The 1851 Howell .38 conversions are ideal, just what one would desire. I caution anyone doing a gated conversion to think what they are doing, they are turning an unregulated revolver into an FAA regulated firearm.

Regards,
Richard
